Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Sales Management

  • Develop and implement B2B marketing and sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.
  • Identify and build relationships with key industrial buyers, refiners, traders, and strategic partners.
  • Monitor market trends, demand-supply data, and pricing to recommend optimal selling strategies.
  • Collaborate with mill operations and logistics teams to plan product availability and timely delivery.

Business Development & Client Relations

  • Drive new business opportunities and manage existing client portfolios.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with customers.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct regular market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis.
  • Provide insights on market dynamics, pricing trends, and buyer behaviour.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, marketing reports, and performance analysis for management review.

Marketing Communications & Branding

  • Develop marketing materials, presentations, and product profiles for B2B engagement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
  • Ensure all marketing activities align with the company’s brand image and business goals.

Administration & Compliance

  • Oversee all sales and marketing documentation required for audits and compliance.
  • Work closely with finance and operations on invoicing, documentation, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage departmental budget and ensure cost-effective marketing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B marketing or industrial sales, preferably in palm oil or agri-commodities.
  • Strong understanding of palm oil supply chain, pricing mechanisms, and market trends.
  • Proven ability in business development, negotiation, and client management.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP or CRM systems is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
