What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities):

  • Vendor Management
  • Identify and qualify potential vendors; build long-term, trust-based supplier relationships.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Purchase Order Excellence
  • Verify pricing, quantity, and delivery terms before issuing POs to prevent errors and delays.
  • Order Tracking & Follow-up
  • Track and follow up on orders proactively to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.
  • Negotiation & Cost Justification
  • Negotiate prices and benchmarks; provide clear justification for purchases to meet budget and quality targets.
  • Documentation & Closure
  • Process GRNs and required documents accurately to close files within the same month.
  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain and monitor stock levels for standard products to prevent stockouts or excess holding.

What do we need from you (Job Requirements):

  • 2–3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Diploma or higher in a relevant field.
  • Communication: Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage for communication with suppliers
  • Global exposure: Experience with overseas purchases is a plus.
  • Systems proficiency: Knowledge of MES, Autocount, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
