We are seeking a result-driven Factory Manager with 2 years of experience in the manufacturing plant operations, preferably in the chemical, fertilizer, or agriculture industriesto join our team. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, warehousing, logistics, and maintenance while ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations (Department of Environment, Department of Accupational Safety and Health, BOMBA, and MPK).
• Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes for increased efficiency and cost reduction. Implement lean manufacturing principles where applicable.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Oversee raw material procurement, inventory levels, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted supply chain flow. Ensure suppliers and vendors for timely material availability.
• Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and train factory personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage factory budgets, controlling costs while ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
• Equipment & Maintenance: Ensure machinery and equipment are well-maintained and in good working condition. Plan and oversee maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, operational challenges, and improvement plans to senior management.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, or a related fields.
• Two (2) years of factory managerial experience in the manufacturing plant operations, preferably in the chemical, fertilizer, or agriculture industries.
• Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset, goal-oriented approach, accountability, integrity, and a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with warehouse and logistics management is an advantage.
• Computer-literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites and other relevant software.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
