Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and direct engagement with retail shops and distributors, converting leads into long-term clients.
  • Sales Performance: Drive revenue growth by targeting key market segments within the assigned territory, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Distributor & Dealer Management: Lead, coach, and manage distributor sales teams, ensuring full compliance with the Company’s sales policies, processes, and brand strategies.
  • Field Engagement & Network Expansion: Conduct regular on-site customer visits to drive sell-through, strengthen existing relationships, and expand the local sales and service network.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyse market insights, including retail landscape data, competitor activities, and vehicle registration trends by segment, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Customer Advisory: Provide consultative support to customers, enhancing their service standards and operational efficiency to build long-term loyalty.
  • Reporting & Administration: Prepare and submit timely reports to Management (including order management reports) and perform necessary administrative tasks to support the Order Management function.
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Undertake any other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Automotive or related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of sales experience in the automotive or tire industry.
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong experience in distributor management, dealer network development, and territory sales management.
  • Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Good understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and automotive industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market information.
  • Comfortable with cold-calling.
  • Willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Possess a valid driving license.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
