Job Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily construction site operations and ensuring all works are carried out according to project drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves supervising workers and subcontractors, monitoring site progress, coordinating site activities, and reporting updates to the project team to ensure smooth and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and workforce
- Ensure construction works comply with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and report site status to project management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers
- Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship and safety compliance
- Resolve on-site issues and report technical problems when necessary
- Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation
- Enforce safety regulations and promote safe working practices
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of construction methods and site operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage site workforce
- Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented
- Willing to work on-site and long hours if required
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of site supervision experience
- Experience in construction, civil, renovation, or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of site safety regulations and practices
