Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering and construction projects to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to project specifications. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise project activities and site operations
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets
- Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety requirements
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates
- Manage manpower, materials, and equipment on site
- Attend site meetings and resolve technical or operational issues
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures
- Assist in project planning, procurement, and cost control
- Monitor workplace safety and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Willing to travel or work on-site when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of project or site engineering experience
- Experience in construction, M&E, civil, or industrial projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
