About the role

As a Shipping Executive, you will take ownership of end-to-end import and export operations in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment. This role offers direct exposure to international trade, close collaboration with China and overseas stakeholders, and the opportunity to drive process improvements that impact cost, efficiency, and delivery performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Import & Export Coordination: Manage daily import and export shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Freight & Supplier Liaison: Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and suppliers to arrange shipments and resolve issues.
  • Shipping Documentation: Prepare and verify invoices, packing lists, and other required shipping documents accurately.
  • Customs & Compliance: Handle customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with Incoterms, regulations, and trade requirements.
  • Shipment Tracking & Reporting: Take ownership of shipment tracking and proactively resolve delays or disruptions. Provide updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, reduce delays, and optimize costs.

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage due to frequent interaction with China-based stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance procedures.
  • Experience in liaising with freight forwarders, suppliers, and shipping agents.
  • Familiar with shipping documentation such as invoices and packing lists.
