Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and proactive Procurement Executive to support our daily purchasing and operational activities. The candidate will play an important role in handling procurement processes, supplier coordination, stock monitoring, documentation, and administrative support to ensure smooth business operations.

Job Scope & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue Quotations, Purchase Orders (PO), Proforma Invoices (PI), and Delivery Orders (DO).
  • Source and compare suppliers, products, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for better pricing and procurement terms.
  • Monitor and manage stock inventory, incoming stock, and stock movement.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival of goods.
  • Liaise closely with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Follow up on orders, deliveries, and supplier documentation.
  • Maintain proper procurement records, filing, and documentation.
  • Assist in administrative and operational tasks when required.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procedures and timelines.

Required Skills

  • Good negotiation and purchasing skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Basic knowledge in procurement and inventory management.
  • Able to prepare and manage Quotations, PO, PI, and DO accurately.
  • Good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple suppliers/orders efficiently.
  • Problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Basic administrative and clerical skills.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years working experience in procurement, purchasing, administration, or related field.
  • Familiar with handling PO, Quotation, PI, DO, and inventory monitoring.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Able to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.

Added Advantage

  • Experience in handling suppliers and client coordination.
  • Knowledge in stock/inventory management.
  • Experience in medical equipment, engineering, or technical industry is an advantage.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Post-Graduate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Supply chain management: 2 years (Required)

Language:

  • English (Required)

License/Certification:

  • b2 and D (Required)
