Qualifications

• 1st Grade Boilerman certificate by DOSH
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in boiler and steam turbine operations.
• Minimum SPM

Responsibilities

• Comply, support and follows all company policies and procedures and all statutory requirements within area of responsibility and ensure taking care of own health, safety and environment at all time.
• Aware & comply on all GMP standard practices inside MSMJ.
• Responsible to ensure operation and maintenance boiler station comply with Steam Boiler and Unfired Pressure Vessel Regulation (OSHA 1994).
• Responsible to operate boiler, steam turbine generator (STG), water treatment plant, cooling tower and the whole boiler operation based on SOP, WI and instruction by superior.
• Responsible to supervise boiler, STG, water treatment plant, cooling tower and the whole boiler operation plant.
• Responsible to ensure daily maintenance being carried out for boiler, STG, water treatment plant, cooling tower and the whole boiler operation plant.
• Responsible to record boiler, STG, water treatment plant, water and chemical tank level data or condition in checklists.
• Responsible to record daily boiler operation report in logbook.
• Responsible to ensure all boiler machinery running smoothly and in good condition.
• Responsible to ensure good quality of water are sufficient for boiler operation.
• Responsible to operate turbine generator within optimum capacity.
• Responsible to carry out boiler maintenance according to schedule.
• Responsible to communicate and coordinate with related department regarding steam, power and water supply.
• Responsible to issue Job Card in case of any breakdown for Reliability.
• Responsible to sign PTW as area owner during absence of engineer or lead and ensure equipment/vessel/machine isolated and purged/drained if required.
• Responsible to supervise ongoing work by internal or external party at all area under Boiler Department.
• Responsible to maintain good housekeeping, create safe area at work place and keep all tool at proper place.
• Responsible to plan and record manpower according to requirement.
• Responsible to report any breakdowns at Boiler Station to engineer and lead.
• Responsible to follow all factory safety regulation (OSHA 1994).
• Assist engineer and lead in administration of Boiler Operation.
• Attend to other works as assigned by boiler engineer and lead.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
