Evangel Hospital Hiring! Full Time Senior Registered Nurse (Wound Care - Infection Control) in Kowloon, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

【Responsibilities】

• Provide specialist clinical wound assessment, management and documentation for patients in inpatient wards and outpatient clinic
• Lead wound-care related patient education, follow-up and care coordination to improve outcomes and clinic revenue
• Advise on wound-care products and dressing selection; standardize protocols and pathways for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Train and mentor nursing staff in wound assessment and dressing techniques and support competency development
• Support infection prevention efforts and participate in related audits, surveillance and improvement projects and to develop infection control skills on the job
• Collect and report clinic performance metrics, contribute to quality improvement projects and service development initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with Hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

【Qualifications & Preferred Attributes】

• Bachelor degree in Nursing
• Minimum 8 years of post-registration experience
• Proven wound care experience is essential
• Holder of Hong Kong Registered Nurse license with valid practicing certificate
• Holder of valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate/ Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
• Holder of Post-Registration Stoma and Wound Course Certificate recognized in Hong Kong and/ or overseas
• Infection control certification or experience an added advantage
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of professional nursing practice and skills
• Ability to demonstrate good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication, teaching and documentation skills
• Empathic and be able to demonstrate commitment in nursing.
