About the Role

We are looking for a creative, trend-aware, and proactive Content Creator to join our digital marketing team. This role involves planning, producing, and appearing in engaging content across multiple social media platforms for both internal and client brands.


You will work closely with strategists, designers, copywriters, and the production team to develop content that is not only visually engaging, but also aligned with campaign objectives and platform trends.


We’re not just looking for someone who can post content. We’re looking for someone who understands internet culture, knows how to capture attention, and can turn ideas into content people actually want to watch.


Key Responsibilities


Content Creation

  • Plan, shoot, and create engaging short-form content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other digital platforms.
  • Develop content ideas, hooks, storytelling angles, and executions that align with brand objectives and current trends.
  • Produce content that is platform-relevant, engaging, and optimised for audience retention and engagement.
  • Be involved in both behind-the-scenes production and on-camera appearances when required.
  • Assist in creating content for campaigns, product launches, brand awareness, and always-on social media content.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand tone, messaging, and creative direction.


Trend Research and Ideation

  • Stay updated with social media trends, trending audio, platform updates, internet culture, and viral content formats.
  • Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions for campaigns and social media activations.
  • Research competitors, audiences, and trending content styles to generate fresh ideas.
  • Proactively suggest new content formats and opportunities for brands to stay relevant online.


Production and Editing

  • Coordinate and assist during content shoots, including preparation of props, locations, and shoot flow.
  • Capture content using mobile devices, cameras, or basic production equipment.
  • Edit short-form videos and social content for fast turnaround publishing.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet platform specifications and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the production and design team to ensure smooth execution of content.


Collaboration and Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with strategists, designers, copywriters, and account managers to align content with campaign objectives.
  • Participate in internal discussions to understand client goals, target audiences, and messaging direction.
  • Assist in maintaining content calendars and ensuring timely content delivery.
  • Support campaign executions and content rollouts across multiple brands and projects.


Candidate Requirements

  • Hungry to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and other digital platforms.
  • Strong sense of current trends, internet culture, and content consumption behaviour.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and creating video-based content when required.
  • Mandarin-speaking candidates are highly preferred, as this role may involve creating and managing content for Mandarin-speaking audiences.
  • Basic skills in video editing using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar content creation tools and software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to project manage your time.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Basic understanding of Digital Marketing and how content contributes to engagement and brand growth.
  • Familiarity with photography, videography, lighting, or content production workflows is an advantage.
  • A personality that rocks hard (but is still serious at work).
  • Own a laptop and be able to start almost immediately.
