Job Summary
Implement and execute postal and courier industry policy, regulatory, and development programs/initiatives/projects to ensure continuous development and sustainability of the postal courier supply chain through collaborative efforts with stakeholders. Plan, organize, and execute communication sessions with internal and/or external stakeholders on the programs/initiatives/projects' initiatives, action plans, and updates.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement postal courier industry policies and development programmes/initiatives.
- Coordinate, implement, and execute the postal courier industry policies development initiatives to ensure continuous development and sustainability of the postal courier supply chain through collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implementation tracking of program executions and implementations.
- Ensure programs are on schedule, within stated budgets, while maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.
- Prepare and/or present reports, including periodic/progress and post-program (s) reports.
Organise and implement communication session(s)
- Organize and implement communication sessions (s) to internal stakeholders and/or external stakeholders on the initiatives, action plans, and updates of the industry development programs/initiatives.
- Identify and liaise with the stakeholders to participate in the communication session(s).
- Gather feedback and input from the relevant stakeholders.
- Create and maintain program records, reports, presentations, and proposals.
- Facilitate positive relations between the program team, the public, and the media. other departments within the organization, and all other involved parties.
Annual Budget
- Plan and propose the annual budget required for all department's KPIs/deliverables for approval.
- Monitor and manage the approved annual budget for effective utilization.
- Oversee the programme budget, including procurement processes, tracking payment milestones and other financial transactions.
Qualification & Work Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Management/Legal/Economics or other relevant qualification with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and above. A master’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in sectoral policy, regulatory, and law is an added advantage.
