Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements, drive analysis, support and assess gaps, impacts and requirements on applications/solutions supported.
- Project & solution deliveries in alignment with business requirements and explore & implement enterprisewide technology enablement in accordance with business strategy and latest technologies.
- Manage & execute the implementation of applications developed / supported in meeting users’ requirements and objectives.
- Responsible to manage & conduct system integration test & user acceptance test.
- Provide application support services to EPF products platforms e.g. i-lindung, i-Invest.
- Provide maintenance support in technology portfolio ensuring systems healthiness and performance meeting SLA.
- Assess and implement system improvement plan to ensure reduction of incidents/problems and improve system stability and performance with appropriate preventive and proactive action in place.
- Support and troubleshoot system integration between internal and external applications/platforms.
- Manage and monitor application interfaces, APIs, batch jobs, file transfers, and middleware integrations.
- Coordinate with external vendors/third parties for issue resolution, deployment, and integration activities.
- Analyze system/data flow and identify integration impact during incidents, deployments, and enhancement activities.
- Support production deployment, post-deployment validation, hypercare, and root cause analysis activities.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experiences in system/application support role or programmer role with skills in IT problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution.
- Good understanding of system logical and architecture which including knowing how system components interact, comprehending design principles, and recognizing data flow.
- Knowledge in application development programming languages and components i.e. Java, HTML etc. Java experience will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding in Structured Query Language (SQL) and database system with basic knowledge in database components and operation.
- At least 2 years’ experience to manage & conduct system integration testing & user acceptance test.
- Experience supporting enterprise application integrations, APIs, web services, middleware, or external system interfaces.
- Familiar with system-to-system integration concepts, data flow analysis, interface troubleshooting, and batch processing.
- Experience coordinating with external vendors or third-party systems will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in production deployment, application monitoring, incident/problem management, and post-release support.
- Exposure to Linux/Unix, WebLogic, JBoss, FTP/MFT, middleware, or monitoring tools is preferred.
