Read This Before Applying

We are filtering hard on two things. If you cannot satisfy both, do not apply.

1. Proven track record of personally building live backlinks.

Not "I worked on the SEO team." Not "I supported link building campaigns." We want the URL of the placement, the URL of the site you built it for, and the outreach email that won it. If you cannot produce live, verifiable links that you personally secured, do not apply.

2. Proven ability to design and run your own generative AI workflows.

We are not hiring a human autoresponder who sends emails all day. We are hiring someone who already uses ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools to build their own systems: prospect research, pitch drafting, reply triage, follow-up cadences. If your current process is "open Gmail, copy template, paste, send, repeat," this role is not for you. We want to see what you've already built with AI, even if it's scrappy.

We will not bend on either filter.

The Role

We're hiring one dedicated Link Building Specialist. Your entire job is outreach, sending highly personalised link building pitches to website owners, editors, and journalists on behalf of our SEO clients.

This is not a generic "send 500 templated emails a day" role. You will use Claude Code (Anthropic's CLI agent) programmatically to research each prospect, write a customised pitch that references their actual content, and queue it for sending. You will also be expected to extend and improve those workflows yourself as you learn the tooling. We provide the foundation. You build on top of it.

If you've ever run a Pitchbox / BuzzStream / Respona campaign and felt the templated pitches were the weak link, this role is the answer to that problem.

What You'll Do

• Build prospect lists for each client campaign (SG, regional, and global outlets depending on the client)
• Use and extend Claude Code workflows to research each prospect's recent content and tailor every pitch
• Design your own AI-assisted sub-workflows for reply triage, follow-up sequencing, and relationship tracking
• Write the final pitch. Claude drafts, you edit, you send. Quality control is on you.
• Manage replies, follow-ups, and negotiate placements (guest posts, niche edits, digital PR mentions, resource page links)
• Report weekly on prospects contacted, reply rate, links secured, and DR/traffic of placements
• Maintain a clean CRM of relationships so we can re-engage publishers across multiple clients

Target volume: 30 to 50 highly personalised pitches per day. Quality over spray-and-pray. With AI leverage this is achievable. Without it, it isn't, which is exactly why we're hiring this profile.

Requirements

• Proven track record of personally building live backlinks. Mandatory. You must walk us through real campaigns you ran, the pitches you sent, and the live links that resulted. We will click every link and verify it exists. Fabricated portfolios will be caught and blacklisted.
• Proven generative AI fluency. Mandatory. You must already be using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar in your daily workflow and be able to show us specifically how. "I use it sometimes" is not enough. We want to see prompts, custom GPTs, automations, or any system you've built. Bonus if you've ever touched the API or a CLI tool.
• Minimum 2 years in white-hat link building at an agency or in-house SEO team where link building was your primary responsibility, not a side task.
• Based in Malaysia or Philippines. Non-negotiable for English fluency and timezone overlap with Singapore.
• Native-level written English. Your pitches will be read by editors at SG, AU, UK, and US publications. Broken English kills reply rates.
• Comfortable in a terminal. You'll be running CLI commands daily. We'll train you on Claude Code, but if cd, git, and basic file editing scare you, this isn't your role.
• Self-managed. Remote-first means we measure output, not hours. You set your own schedule as long as the pitches go out.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, Pitchbox, BuzzStream, Respona, or Hunter
• Hands-on with Claude Code, Cursor, n8n, Make, Zapier, or any agentic AI tool
• Digital PR experience (HARO, Qwoted, SourceBottle, journalist outreach)
• Singapore market knowledge (you'll be pitching SG outlets for our local clients)

What We Offer

• Salary: MYR 4,500 to 7,000 monthly (Malaysia) or PHP 55,000 to 85,000 monthly (Philippines) depending on experience
