Our Client, a logistics and freight forwarding company specializing in warehousing, cargo handling, and transportation support services, is inviting qualified candidates to join as a Forklift Driver cum Warehouse Assistant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material Handling & Equipment Operation

• Operate forklift safely for loading, unloading, and movement of cargo

• Operate other material handling equipment including:

  • VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) trucks

  • Reach trucks

  • Electric pallet jacks / pallet trucks

  • Order pickers (if required)

• Move, stack, and organize palletized goods in designated storage locations

• Ensure safe handling and proper placement of goods to prevent damage

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against documentation

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare goods for outbound delivery

• Perform container loading and unloading (stuffing and unstuffing)

• Support inventory control, stock checks, and cycle counts

• Maintain accurate records of stock movement where required

Safety & Housekeeping

• Comply with all warehouse safety procedures and SOPs

• Conduct basic equipment checks before operation

• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the warehouse

• Report any damaged goods, equipment faults, or safety hazards immediately

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to handle goods up to 30kg safely

• Able to perform manual lifting, carrying, and stacking when required

General Support

• Support supervisors and warehouse team in daily operations

• Assist in ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid forklift license / certification (mandatory)

• Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment preferred

• Familiarity with VNA, reach trucks, and other MHE is an advantage

• Willing to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required

• Comfortable of handling up to 30kg loads

• Working Days/Hours              : 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
