Job Description

Responsibilities

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Engineer located in Kallang, Singapore.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Responsible for mechanical/structural design and development of power shelf, PDU, and all‑in‑one integrated power products, including design reviews, technical documentation, prototype assembly, tooling requests, part qualification, and tolerance analysis.
  • Work closely with engineers and/or customers to align on mechanical requirements, support issue resolution, and conduct effective communication. Travel to customer sites when required for technical discussions, analysis, and problem solving.
  • Participate in or take ownership of mechanical testing related to power shelves or power products. Responsible for packaging design and resolving issues identified during testing.
  • Support the transition from prototype to mass production, including resolving mechanical design issues and maintaining technical documentation through engineering changes.
  • Support factory NPI (New Product Introduction) production lines, resolving mechanical issues encountered during manufacturing.
  • Generate and maintain 2D drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings, exploded views, BOMs, assembly instructions, and operating manuals for energy storage and power products.
  • Track tooling and mold progress, participate in mold trials, review and implement modifications, and support product testing, certification, and acceptance evaluation.

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, with 6+ years of mechanical design experience.
  • Proven experience independently delivering Shelf, PDU, or power products from development to mass production; proficient in Pro/Engineer (Creo) or equivalent CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic and metal part design, including material properties, manufacturing processes, applications, relevant mechanical design standards, and safety/compliance requirements.
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting, welding, stamping, injection molding, and metal surface treatments.
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety standards, including busbar current‑carrying capacity calculations.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, with strong learning ability, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset; capable of innovation and problem solving.
  • Strong teamwork and execution skills, able to work under pressure with a high sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Good English reading and writing skills
