Job Description

Responsibilities

A Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager and site teams in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that all project documentation, schedules, procurement activities, and communication flow smoothly between consultants, contractors, and internal teams to meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all project activities, including scheduling, procurement, documentation, and reporting.
  • Track project progress, prepare updates, and highlight potential delays or issues.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Need to prepare quotation based on the SOR (Government SOR)
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as correspondence, meeting minutes, drawings, variation orders, and progress reports.
  • Assist in preparing work programs, progress claims, and cost control documents.
  • Coordinate site meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and company policies.
  • Support the preparation of tender documents and procurement of materials and services.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation systems for all project-related materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project and management needs.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction project coordination or site administration.

• Familiar with local construction processes, codes, and authorities’ requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.

• Team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
