About the role

We're looking for an exceptional Customer Service Officer to join the Megan Retail Sdn. Bhd. team in Butterworth, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and support to our valued clients, ensuring their queries and concerns are addressed efficiently and effectively.

Job description

  • Respond to any inquiries, issues, or concerns raised by customers in a professional manner

  • Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction, resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively

  • Conduct LIVE sessions on Shopee, Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platform

  • Maintain good relationships with potential customers

  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies

  • Work closely with team members to support and manage corporate events professionally when required

  • Handle daily customer service operations efficiently and professionally

  • Assist in shooting short-form content (photos/videos) for social media purpose

  • Support live-selling and promotional content creation, including behind-the-scenes and product highlight videos

Additional Responsibilities (E-Commerce Support)

  • Support shooting content (I.e general modelling )

  • Assist customers with order status, payment issues, delivery tracking, returns, and refunds

  • Support online promotions, campaigns, and live-selling activities

  • Update customer records and order information accurately in the system

Job Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is an advantage (fresh graduates are welcome)

  • Minimum SPM qualification

  • Willing to work 6 days per week

  • Able to work on shifts:
    Morning shift: 9.00am – 5.00pm
    Afternoon shift: 12.30pm – 6.00pm
    Night shift: 8.00pm – 9.30pm (Work From Home)

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with social media/e-commerce platforms will be an advantage

  • Good communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
