Nov Inc Hiring! Full Time Piping Engineer in WP Kuala Lumpur - Ricebowl

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Review project specifications.
2. Liaise with engineering team members to ascertain project requirements.
3. Create compliant Piping specs within 3D model hierarchy.
4. Review Piping ISO’s.
5. Review Piping BoM’s (Pipe schedules, materials, flanges, gaskets and bolting).
6. Piping material catalogue check for E3D
7. Assist layout team on 3D modelling design.
8. Attend Design Reviews – with Client and/or Peers. 
9. Take an active role in IDC with other Engineering disciplines.
10. Be responsible for review, checking and approval of peers and subordinates work in piping engineering work.
11. Be Package responsible engineer for manual valves, piping special items. Preparing data sheets, RFQ, TC, TBE for these packages.
12. Review completed work to ensure accuracy, non-ambiguity and conformity to specification.
13. Carry out assigned duties within given timescales.
14. Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy.
15. Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times.
16. Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
17. Be fully aware of personal workload in order to plan, organise and prioritise workload to ensure all document submission/issue dates required by contracts are maintained.
18. Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy.
19. Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are always in full compliance.
20. Review bid documentation and give input to tender team regarding pricing, scope and planning.
21. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
