Responsibilities
Are you an experienced RPG Developer with a strong background in banking systems? This is your chance to work on critical core banking platforms and enterprise systems!
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in RPG / AS400 development
Strong experience in RPGLE / RPG IV / CL Programming
Hands-on with IBM i (AS400) environment
Experience in DB2/400 database design & SQL queries
Knowledge of stored procedures, embedded SQL, and query optimization
Familiar with banking systems (loans, deposits, payments, core banking)
Experience in batch job processing, job scheduling, and performance tuning
Exposure to API integration / web services (REST/SOAP) with AS400
Understanding of message queues, file handling, and data migration
Experience in production support, incident handling, and system enhancements
Nice to Have:
Experience with system modernization or AS400 migration projects
Knowledge of DevOps practices / version control (Git)
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery environments
