Established in 1998 in Kuala Lumpur, it has grown to become one of the largest comprehensive learning centers for marginalized children aged 2 to 19, now serving over 2,000 students annually from 29 nationalities. The foundation provides a secure and enriching education environment from pre-school to secondary levels, implementing methods like the Montessori approach, Cambridge syllabus, and IGCSE program. It also integrates vocational training into its Upper Secondary program and operates unique Transformational Enterprises, including cafes, hair salons, and a farm academy.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur for a Lower Secondary Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, primarily in Mathematics and other assigned subjects, while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities include preparing tailored lesson plans, assessing student progress, engaging students in interactive teaching methodologies, and collaborating with colleagues to develop strategies for student success.

Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher with the ability to teach in a formal educational setting
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning and creating engaging and effective teaching materials
  • Subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and competence in delivering content to lower secondary students
  • Strong Teaching and Communication skills to foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Passion for working with diverse and marginalized communities is a strong advantage
  • Experience with the Cambridge syllabus and IGCSE programs is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a multicultural and multilingual environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
