Who We Are Looking For:
The Test Automation Engineer will define and implement centralized quality tools and test automation strategy including software quality, tools and framework.
What Impact You Will Make:
- Analyzing documents (e.g., design, requirements, architecture, diagrams, flowcharts) to obtain an understanding of the requirements.
- Collaborating with the Reference Product development team to identify and create the required test scenarios, test case preparation, test data preparation and document traceability matrix to ensure sufficient test coverage.
- Executing test cases and test plans to support the QA activities throughout the software lifecycle.
- Find bugs through systematic and ad hoc testing and troubleshooting.
- Should be able to automate testing and perform regression testing.
- Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
- Producing clear and concise test reports and releasing notes to co-workers when needed.
- Providing feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues.
- Suggesting new processes and policies to improve mobile development techniques.
What Skills and Experience You Will Bring:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in system testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Hands on testing experience with commercial and open source tools.
- Knowledge in at least 1 scripting or programming language, preferably: Java, JavaScript, C#, Postman, Selenium (test automation tools).
- Has a strong understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, both in principle and in practice.
- Team player who is self-motivated, methodical and meticulous.
- Demonstrated traits of being organized.
- Demonstrated ability across platforms including web applications, Android and iOS.
