Responsible for planning and managing the end-to-end logistics process for all export shipments from initial coordination to final delivery to customers.

Job Descriptions

• Liaise with government agencies such as Malaysian Investment Development Authority, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, SIRIM, Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia and Royal Malaysian Customs Department on shipment regulations and application matters.

• Renew all logistics-related applications, particularly for export activities, before expiry to ensure smooth shipment processes.

• Liaise closely with freight forwarders on freight cost reduction discussions and shipping arrangements, including delivery coordination.

• Support international and domestic sales teams with shipment and delivery arrangements based on required shipment dates and provide shipping rates upon request.

• Liaise with customers regarding documentation and destination clearance processes.

• Ensure shipping invoices are accurate and properly verified.

• Prepare all required export shipment documents including insurance reports for the Finance Department.

• Coordinate with the Warehouse Department for cargo collection arrangements with forwarders.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field with minimum 3 years working experience in logistics/shipping operations.

• Good knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.

• Experienced in liaising with freight forwarders, transporters and internal departments.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Word.

• Able to work independently, disciplined and meet deadlines.

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
