About the Role
Reporting to the Global P2P Operations & COE Lead, you will be accountable for P2P regional growth target, merchant ecosystem development, regional product rollouts, and cross-functional coordination across Product, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, Community, and Customer Service. This is a regional team leader role for someone who is equally comfortable in strategy thinking and solid market-level execution.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Operational Ownership
• Own day-to-day P2P business performance across SEA markets and other assigned regions.
• Monitor regional OKR including transaction volume, competitiveness, disputes, and fraud patterns, etc.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions to improve platform efficiency and user experience.
• Provide localised business insights to the P2P Ops Lead, own regional strategy and contribute to product roadmap.
Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of regional Business Development managers covering target markets.
• Set clear targets, structured workflows, and review cadences for the BD team.
• Identify capability gaps and actively drive upskilling, hiring, and team development.
• Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and ownership-led culture.
Merchant Ecosystem Development
• Drive merchant onboarding, relationship management, performance tracking, incentive programs, and quality improvements across the region.
• Oversee and grow merchant community to maintain a healthy, active, and engaged P2P ecosystem.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Bybit and the regional merchant community.
Cross-functional & Local Coordination
• Coordinate with local market teams to align operations with country-specific dynamics, regulations, and user behavior.
• Work with Product to communicate regional needs, test new P2P features, and support local rollout.
• Work with Risk and Compliance to ensure safe P2P operations (fraud prevention) and adherence to local regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Community on regional campaigns and user education.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to support dispute resolution and ensure efficient handling of user cases.
• Execute and continuously contribute operational SOPs, working with P2P COE.
Market Insights & Growth
• Analyze regional P2P market trends, pricing dynamics, payment methods, and competitive landscape.
• Surface insights from market research and merchant feedback to Product, Risk, Compliance, and CS, working with COE
• Lead regional P2P go-to-market initiatives and growth campaigns in partnership with Marketing.
• Drive execution of user acquisition initiatives and campaign rollouts
What We're Looking For
Must Have
• 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, business development, or product operations — ideally in crypto, fintech, tech., marketplaces, or adjacent sectors.
• 2+ years of proven experience leading or coordinating small teams.
• Hands-on experience operating across multiple countries or markets.
• Strong understanding of operational workflows, project management best practices, and structured execution.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strategic thinking and analytical mindset: comfortable with dashboards, data-driven decision-making, and translating numbers into strategy and actions.
• Fluent in English; additional regional languages are a strong plus.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.
Nice to Have
• Direct experience with P2P platforms, crypto exchanges, or digital asset ecosystems.
• Familiarity with merchant management in a marketplace or P2P environment.
• Exposure to risk monitoring, anti-fraud methods, KYC/KYB processes, or transaction oversight.
• Experience with growth campaigns, user acquisition, or market launches.
• Passion for blockchain, financial inclusion, and the future of decentralized finance.
