Job Summary

The Project Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site civil construction activities related to poultry farm development. This includes site preparation, foundation works, structural construction, drainage systems, and coordination of all site operations to ensure the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires strong supervision skills, knowledge of civil works, and the ability to manage workers, subcontractors, and site logistics effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise daily construction activities including earthworks, foundations, concrete, structural works, and farm infrastructure
• Ensure all works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and approved method statements
• Monitor site progress and ensure project timelines are achieved

2. Poultry Farm-Specific Works

• Oversee construction of poultry houses (open/closed house systems)
• Monitor installation of farm infrastructure such as:
• Drainage and wastewater systems
• Farm roads and access
• Ventilation structures and platforms
• Ensure biosecurity and farm layout requirements are followed

3. Workforce & Subcontractor Management

• Coordinate and supervise workers, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity
• Ensure manpower, materials, and equipment are properly allocated

4. Quality Control

• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are taken
• Ensure materials used meet project specifications

5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce site safety regulations and PPE compliance
• Identify potential hazards and take preventive measures
• Maintain safe working conditions on-site

6. Planning & Coordination

• Assist Project Manager in planning and scheduling activities
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders
• Attend site meetings and provide updates

7. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, and work records
• Track material usage and site activities
• Report delays, issues, and risks to management

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in construction (experience in agricultural/poultry projects is an advantage)
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong knowledge of civil works (earthworks, concrete, drainage, structures)
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
