Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)
Location: Puchong

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure products consistently meet required quality standards and are delivered in accordance with agreed timelines and contractual obligations.
• Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, reliability, and adherence to quality standards. Proactively address and resolve supply shortages, delivery delays, or quality issues to maintain uninterrupted production and service levels.
• Leverage strong negotiation skills to establish mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement supplier improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and delivery performance optimization.
• Accurately determine material requirements and generate Purchase Orders with precise quantities and pricing, ensuring compliance with lead times and company procurement policies upon receipt of purchase requests.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable delivery schedules, minimum order quantities, and payment terms that align with the company’s strategic and financial objectives.
• Collaborate proactively with internal teams, including production and warehouse departments, to ensure the timely procurement, quality control, proper storage, and on-schedule delivery of goods.
• Any additional responsibilities/ tasks as delegated by the Management as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in a similar role within the fittings & accessories, manufacturing, or interior design industries is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation skills and resourcefulness in sourcing new suppliers.
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with suppliers, internal customers, and inventory planning.
• Detail-oriented with a quick learning ability.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves frequent communication with suppliers from China.
• Available to start immediately or within one month's notice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
