Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role will play a critical part in supporting business growth, improving financial performance, and ensuring strong governance across multi-entity operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting

• Oversee full spectrum of finance functions including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Consolidate financial reports across multiple entities and business units
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance

Budgeting & Strategic Planning

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making
• Partner with senior management to align financial strategies with company growth plans

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and accounting standards
• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies

Cost Control & Business Performance

• Monitor cost structures, margins, and profitability across operations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
• Support pricing strategies and financial modelling for new business initiatives

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Lead and develop finance team to ensure high performance and accountability
• Drive digitalisation and process improvements in finance operations
• Enhance reporting systems and financial workflows

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CA preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in managerial role
• Strong experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or export-oriented business is highly preferred
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and compliance
• Experience handling multi-entity or regional finance operations is an advantage
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
