1. Customs Documentation & Classification

• Classify goods using the tariff coding system for accurate customs processing.
• Prepare and process all necessary import and export documentation in compliance with customs regulations.
• Request and compile import documents such as customs invoices, certificates of origin, and other required documents.

2. Regulatory Compliance & Updates

• Stay up to date with changes in customs regulations, tariffs, and industry standards to ensure continued compliance.
• Ensure all shipments comply with relevant regulatory requirements for customs clearance, safety standards, and environmental considerations.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits, bonds, and licenses required for the shipment.

3. Problem Resolution:

• Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the shipment or customs clearance process, working the teams and resolve them promptly.
• Investigate and resolve any customs-related disputes or delays in a timely manner.
• Identify areas for improvement in the process and suggest effective solutions to prevent recurring issues.

4. Administrative Support & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation, and related correspondence.
• Prepare reports on shipment status and customs activities.
• Provide general administrative support including filing, document management, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

Additional Compensation:

• Overtime allowance

Education:

• SPM or Certificate in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum one (1) year experience in forwarding, shipping, or logistics documentation is preferred

Requirements:

• Knowledge in customs documentation and basic import/export procedures
• Able to handle HS code classification and shipping documents
• Familiar with compliance requirements for customs clearance
• Good attention to detail and able to handle administrative tasks
• Physically fit and able to support warehouse coordination when needed
