Key Responsibilities
- Involved in product realization process by carrying out certified activities which comply to internally defined configuration, process, and requirement.
- Perform quality check throughout the product realization process to ensure product/ process quality control.
- Perform duties assigned by departmental lead and support overtime whenever requested to meet targeted output.
- Provide feedback and highlight any production issue or product abnormality to Supervisor / Departmental Lead for further disposition.
- Notify Departmental Lead on any potential product error.
- Assist junior machinists with OJT status to ensure product quality and machining safety.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness, workplace safety, product safety and overall 5S at the workstation.
- Perform machine maintenance as defined in the maintenance record or as assigned by the Departmental Lead.
- Ensure quality records is filled up accurately and that correct use of company issued stamp as defined in the procedure.
- Work closely with Departmental Lead to ensure Departmental KPI, Company Policy, EHS policy, and Quality Objectives are met.
- Ensure production output and efficiency.
- Provide support in overall company improvement activities.
- Responsible in performing documentation and physical check to ensure materials/ tools/ documents/ fixtures/ measuring equipment and gauges etc. are as defined in the product configuration datasheet.
- Ensure that Work Instruction (WI) is always available to guarantee proper setup.
- To ensure effective nonconformity (NC) control, Part identification and Traceability in the production line.
- Execute first and last piece quality verification by submitting the piece to Quality Control for confirmation purposes.
- Provide support in Engineering or Production data collection for continual improvement.
- Ensure accurate update of ERP data and that job is checked in and out.
- Perform in-line inspection based on Quality Control Inspection Sheet.
- Set up CNC milling machines by installing fixtures, tools, and workpieces according to job specifications.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
