Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in WP Kuala Lumpur for a Partner Program Manager. The Partner Program Manager will develop and maintain strategic relationships with partners, ensure partner alignment with company goals, and drive the growth of collaborative business opportunities. Responsibilities include program design and implementation, analyzing partner performance, and conducting regular partner engagement. The individual will also facilitate communication between stakeholders and lead initiatives that enhance partner support and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Relationship Management and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage and grow partner relationships, and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strategic Planning and Program Development: Experience in designing and implementing partner programs, as well as aligning them with organizational goals.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in analyzing partner performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Project Management: Ability to plan, manage, and execute initiatives that enhance partner support and program growth.
- Tech Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud) or experience in managing partnerships within the cloud or tech industry is a plus.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
The Role
We're looking for a Partner Program Manager to build and own Elite Cloud's strategic partnerships — most importantly, our path toward becoming an official partner of leading AI providers such as Anthropic. This is a high-visibility role working directly with our CEO, sitting at the intersection of strategy, business development, and program execution. You'll own the relationships that define our next decade.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end relationship with key technology and AI partners (Anthropic, cloud platforms, and others), from first contact to signed partnership and ongoing growth.
- Drive Elite Cloud's application and qualification toward official partner status — managing requirements, certifications, milestones, and deliverables.
- Build the internal partner program: enablement materials, joint go-to-market plans, co-marketing initiatives, and partner-sourced pipeline.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Elite Cloud and our partners, coordinating across sales, technical, and leadership teams.
- Track and report on partnership performance — partner-influenced revenue, certification status, and program health.
- Represent Elite Cloud in partner meetings, business reviews, and industry events across the region.
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, business development, or channel management — ideally in cloud, SaaS, or technology services.
- A track record of building or growing partner relationships that delivered measurable business results.
- Strong program management skills: you can turn an ambiguous goal into a structured plan with clear milestones and follow through.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable engaging both executives and technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage given our regional teams.
- Self-directed and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, growing company.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with cloud marketplaces or hyperscaler partner programs (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with the AI / large language model landscape.
- Prior experience taking a company through a formal partner-tier qualification process.
