MISC Group Hiring! Full Time Manager Logistics in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

JOB PURPOSE:

• Manage all the appointed freight forwarders, custom agents and other service providers to logistics.
• Liaise with government, local and regulatory authorities to ensure that all logistics matters are conducted in compliance with local regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensure that all materials leverage as much as possible with the duty exemption that clients or yards have i.e., duty exemption facilities.
• Perform visit to construction/delivery sites to ensure that transit and received materials are carried out in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Lead the logistics team and ensure that logistics activities are carried out in compliance to procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the complex strategies involving multinational, foreign and local authorities.
• Represent Logistics unit in meeting with client and management.
• Attend shipping load out of specialized, out of gauge equipment to ensure safe loading, transit and delivery.
• Lead and ensure that all deliveries meet project/client requirements.
• Lead and ensure that logistics and warehousing activities meet budgets and targets with no cost overrun due to cost escalation and warehousing overstay.
• Manage all required reporting of logistics activities.
• Lead and manage vendor performance appraisal exercise in order to maintain competitive and reliable vendors for future projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in the EPCC of Oil and Gas industry. Minimum 5 years in an equal role having managed and coordinated relatively large-scale activities and procurement team.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering.
