Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing
- Manage the procurement process for pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, equipment, and operational materials.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, quotations, and procurement documentation accurately.
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and product quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, shipment schedules, and issue resolution.
Inventory & Stock Coordination
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to avoid stock shortages or overstock situations.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams on stock planning and material availability.
- Support inventory control and stock reconciliation activities when required.
Cost Control & Budget Monitoring
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with company budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
- Analyze pricing trends and recommend cost optimization opportunities.
- Support management in achieving operational efficiency and procurement savings.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, pharmaceutical regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
- Support internal and external audit requirements related to procurement processes.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with finance, warehouse, logistics, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure smooth procurement and delivery processes.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and support operational requirements effectively.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare procurement reports, purchase tracking, and supplier performance analysis.
- Update ERP or procurement systems accurately and ensure proper documentation filing.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in:
- Pharmaceutical industry
- Healthcare or medical supply sector
- Manufacturing or distribution environment
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Pay: RM3,600.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
