SENIOR PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE (JB – Gelang Patah)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and guide junior staff in handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry,

and document preparation.

• Ensure procurement records and databases are accurately maintained and updated in a

timely manner.

• Lead the sourcing process by identifying potential suppliers, obtaining quotations, and

evaluating bids based on quality, cost, and delivery terms.

• Oversee the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with

internal controls and accuracy of information.

• Monitor and manage order statuses, delivery schedules, and payment progress to ensure

timely fulfillment.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with existing suppliers while assisting

in the evaluation and onboarding of new vendors.

• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate terms and improve service delivery performance.

• Prepare documentation and reports required for internal audits, compliance checks, and

management reviews.

• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure optimal stock

availability.

• Conduct and verify periodic inventory audits, resolve variances, and implement corrective

actions when necessary.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and provide

updates on order progress and supplier performance.

• Participate in team discussions to identify opportunities for procurement process

improvements and cost efficiencies.

• Mentor and support junior team members to ensure smooth workflow and continuous

development.

• To carry out other duties as assigned by superiors as and when required.

• Comply with Quality, Health & Safety Policies.

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or equivalent.

• 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience, especially Data Centre industry preferred.

• Having knowledge across Cost Management deliverables including but not limited to:

Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Cost reporting, Procurement,

Contract Knowledge, Change Orders and Final Account close-out is an advantage

Pay: RM2,657.26 - RM7,731.88 per month
