Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Application Support Intern to join our 24×7 Application Support team. This role is ideal for Interns starting their IT career and interns seeking real-world exposure to live production systems in a hybrid, shift-based environment.
You will play a key role in monitoring applications, responding to incidents, and ensuring system availability around the clock.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 application support in a 24×7 environment
- Monitor applications, systems, and alerts during assigned shifts
- Respond to incidents, issues, and service requests within SLA
- Perform basic troubleshooting and initial root cause analysis
- Escalate complex or critical issues to Level 2 / Level 3 teams
- Maintain accurate incident records and documentation
- Support system deployments, maintenance, and release activities
- Ensure proper handover between shifts
Requirements (Fresh Graduates):
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Or related fields
- Basic understanding of:
- Windows / Linux operating systems
- Databases (SQL fundamentals)
- Web or enterprise applications
- Willing to work rotational shifts (including night shifts)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements (Interns):
- Currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Science or related fields
- Basic knowledge of systems or applications
- Willing to work shift-based schedules
- Strong learning attitude and responsibility
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk, etc.)
- Basic SQL querying skills
- Exposure to monitoring tools or system logs
- Basic understanding of ITIL or incident management concepts
