We are seeking an experienced Cisco TAC Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Cisco technologies and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong networking knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to support customers in complex technical environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide phone and email-based technical consultation to debug and resolve product issues reported by Cisco customers globally.
· Deliver technical support for Cisco technologies, products, and solutions while resolving moderate to complex technical problems.
· Utilize advanced lab environments to replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer-reported issues.
· Stay updated with the latest Cisco technologies, products, and industry trends to ensure high-quality support delivery.
· Act as a focal point for large account network issue resolution and provide technical leadership when required.
· Manage current and future Cisco TAC lab requirements for troubleshooting complex scenarios.
· Develop technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and white papers to enhance customer support experience.
· Drive improvements in product serviceability, field quality, and new product/feature incubation activities.
· Conduct training sessions and mentor junior technical consulting engineers.
· Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams to achieve common objectives.

LAN, Wireless & Network Management
· Experience with:
o LAN Switching

o Routing Protocols (OSPF, RIP, BGP, Static Routing)
o Security Protocols (ACL, NAT, VPN IPsec Tunnel, SSL VPN Tunnel)
Troubleshooting Skills
· Strong troubleshooting knowledge in:
o TCP/IP
o HTTPS
o DNS
o SSL & TLS
· Hands-on experience with troubleshooting tools such as:
o Wireshark
o Putty
o TCPDUMP
Data Center & Virtualization
· Experience with:
o Nexus Switches
o UCS-B Systems
o Storage Networking

Qualifications
· 3–7 years of relevant experience in a troubleshooting or customer-facing technical support environment.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
o Engineering
o Electronics
o Telecommunications
o Electrical Engineering
o Computer Science
o Or related disciplines
Certifications
Preferred certifications include:
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
