Located in Petaling Jaya, RISE prepares children for integration into mainstream learning institutions by fostering equality and bridging competency gaps through individualized education plans. The program emphasizes sustainable development, helping children achieve their fullest potential by understanding their unique needs and interactions with their environment. RISE offers structured teaching techniques, play-based learning for toddlers, and interventions to enhance communication, motor skills, and readiness for mainstream education.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya for an Early Intervention Programme (EIP) Teacher. The EIP Teacher will develop and implement individualized lesson plans, deliver engaging and adaptive learning experiences, and track and document each child’s progress. Responsibilities include fostering communication, motor, and social skills among children, supporting their preparations for mainstream schooling, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the development goals of each child. Additionally, the EIP Teacher will communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates and guidance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching to support individualized programs and engaging learning environments.
- Strong skills in Education and Training, with the ability to design, implement, and adapt educational strategies for young children.
- Excellent Communication skills with the ability to guide children effectively and collaborate with parents and team members.
- Experience within the special education or early childhood education industry is a strong advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Psychology , Special Education, or a related field.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with developmental challenges.
