We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Support Specialist / System Administrator / Helpdesk Executive to support daily IT operations, maintain system stability, and provide technical assistance to users across the organization. ️
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and ensuring smooth and secure IT systems.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical support, manage IT systems, and assist in maintaining hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure efficient business operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES️ Helpdesk & Technical Support
- Provide first-line technical support to users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to IT support tickets and service requests
- Assist with system setup, configuration, and installation
- Ensure timely resolution of technical problems
️ System Administration
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
- Support system maintenance, updates, and upgrades
- Monitor system performance and availability
- Assist in server and workstation administration
- Support backup and recovery processes
IT Infrastructure & Security
- Assist with network connectivity troubleshooting
- Support IT security policies and best practices
- Monitor antivirus, patch updates, and system health
- Report security risks or system vulnerabilities
- Support disaster recovery and continuity planning
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve IT issues
- Coordinate with vendors and external IT providers
- Document technical issues and solutions
- Maintain IT procedures and system documentation
- Support IT projects and system improvements

REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, IP, VPN)
- Familiarity with hardware and software troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Active Directory is a plus
- Experience with helpdesk systems is an advantage
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts is beneficial
