NRC Engineering Hiring! Full Time Piping Designer in Selangor - Ricebowl

Only Malaysian citizens or candidates currently residing in Malaysia will be considered.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Piping Designer at NRC Engineering Sdn Bhd. As a Piping Designer, your day-to-day tasks will involve designing piping systems and creating plant layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing piping systems for refineries and other industrial plants.

Job Description

• Understand thoroughly common equipment and routing of all major process and utility piping in accordance with P&IDs and project standards.
• Develop plot plan/equipment layout.
• Perform modelling of equipment and piping using AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Generating and annotating 2D piping orthographic drawings and piping isometric drawings from 3D design software (AutoCAD Plant 3D)
• Produce and check common piping deliverables including isometrics, piping GA's, MTO, tie-in details and plot plans.
• Perform site visit as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Electrical or related field).
• 5 - 10 years working experience as a piping designer
• Malaysian Citizen
• Fluent in spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other applicable software programs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD.
• Technical sound in Piping Engineering and Piping Design requirement.
• Some experience in site-based design in support of construction.
• Experience working with other 3D software will be an added advantage
