Our client is a manufacturing company within the leadframe industry, currently looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead their plating operations and support new project expansion activities.

• Lead overall plating operations to achieve quality, yield, and output targets.
• Manage and mentor engineers and technicians across wet chemical processes.
• Oversee plating line operations, including tank chemistry, process development, waste management, and chemical analysis.
• Drive process improvement, troubleshooting, qualification, and documentation of new processes/equipment.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams on plating expansion projects.
• Monitor chemical/material usage and ensure alignment with production and project requirements.

about the requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Plating Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in electroplating or wet chemistry within the leadframe manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, Control Plan, PFMEA, DOE, and 8D.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin communication ability will be an added advantage due to coordination with overseas stakeholders.
