About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Chemistry Intern to support our R&D laboratory operations. This internship offers hands-on exposure to laboratory testing, documentation, and sample handling in a professional and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Chemists in daily laboratory operations and water/effluent testing, including COD, BOD, formaldehyde, solids, oil & grease (under supervision).

• Support sample receiving, registration, and proper preservation, storage, and disposal of samples.

• Handle document archiving, filing, and disposal in accordance with company procedures.

• Assist with sample and parcel shipment arrangements via FedEx or GDEX.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, including glassware and equipment.

• Ensure strict adherence to PPE and laboratory safety standards.

• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Chemistry or related science discipline.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Willingness to learn, detail-oriented, and able to follow laboratory procedures.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.
