Ensure accurate inventory records via SAP systems, conduct regular stock checks, maintain safety standards, and optimize stock levels to prevent production downtime.

Supervise a team of storekeepers, store clerk and general workers/forklift driver.

Establish suitable minimum/re-order level for all store items and liaise with the purchasing department for replenishment of low-stock items.

Ensure that all the store premises are maintained to the acceptable hygiene and cleanliness standard.

Check and verify Goods Received Notes for all goods received.

Highlight to management any unusual consumptions higher than the normal.

To coordinate half-yearly/annual stock check.

Identify obsolete or slow-moving items and recommend for disposal. Arrange for disposal of scraps.

Ensure engineering store premises are maintained in a safe and clean condition.

Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and Regulations, Environmental Quality Act 1974, Factory & Machinery Act 1967, Poison Act 1952 & Regulations and Responsible Care.

Comply with all quality standards, requirements and policies imposed by the Company and product specification required by local and international clients.

Performs other related duties as assigned by Superior/Management.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

5 years working experience in the related field.

Good knowledge in management of warehouse and store.

Understand FIFO concept and able to do planning.

Has experience of supervising operation of raw material and finished goods warehouse.

Familiar with hardware goods and engineering spare parts.

Willing and able to learn fast.

Organized, meticulous and able to work independently.

Able to work under pressure and perform within tight deadlines.

Ability to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Has the temperament to adhere to set procedures and systems.
