Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QHSE Coordinator to support the implementation and maintenance of our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards across our operations.
The successful candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, client requirements and industry best practices. This role requires strong coordination skills, good knowledge of workplace safety procedures, and the ability to work closely with operations teams to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, monitoring and improvement of QHSE policies, procedures and systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety checks and audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in incident investigation, root cause analysis and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain proper documentation of safety records, risk assessments, permits, inspection reports, training records and audit findings.
- Coordinate and support workplace safety briefings, toolbox meetings and QHSE training sessions.
- Assist in preparing risk assessments, safe work procedures and method statements.
- Monitor compliance with workplace safety, health and environmental regulations.
- Work closely with site teams, supervisors and contractors to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Support internal and external audits, including client and regulatory inspections.
- Track QHSE performance indicators and prepare regular reports for management review.
- Promote a strong safety culture and encourage continuous improvement across the organisation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
- Relevant QHSE, WSH or safety coordination experience will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of local workplace safety and health regulations.
- Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and engage effectively with different levels of staff.
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of relevant WSH certification will be an added advantage.
