Precision Measurement QA Engineer

BizLink is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Precision Measurement QA Engineer to serve as the ultimate authority on dimensional accuracy within our quality laboratory. In this critical role, you will leverage your advanced Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming skills to validate molds, connectors, and other precision components. By actively participating in new product introductions, drafting critical quality documentation, and driving root-cause defect resolutions, you will ensure our manufacturing processes consistently meet the highest industry standards and automotive quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, and calibrate positioning for Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) measurement fixtures accurately.
  • Develop, write, and continuously optimize advanced CMM software measurement programs for complex product geometries.
  • Conduct precise measurements on manufacturing molds, evaluate dimensional anomalies, and ensure absolute tooling accuracy.
  • Perform detailed dimensional verifications on connectors and other finished products, determine structural anomalies, and rigorously track subsequent quality improvement actions.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive CMM operational and programming training for internal team members and relevant personnel.
  • Draft, update, and maintain essential quality control documentation, including Control Plans (CP) and Standard Inspection Procedures (SIP).
  • Generate detailed analytical quality reports, specifically focusing on 8D problem-solving methodologies to address and resolve customer or internal issues.
  • Participate proactively in the entire product lifecycle, providing crucial measurement support from initial new product sample testing through to successful mass production.
  • Execute other quality assurance projects, laboratory operations, and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 3 years of proven working experience in quality assurance, precision measurement, or a related dimensional inspection role.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) for technical documentation and professional communication.
  • Extensive practical experience and high proficiency in operating, setting up, and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Deep understanding and familiarity with automotive quality management systems, specifically ISO/TS16949 (IATF 16949) standards.
  • Solid technical writing skills with a proven track record of creating standardized quality documents (CP, SIP) and root-cause analysis reports (8D).
