The Hong Kong University Of Science And Technology Hiring! Full Time Research Assistant in Sai Kung District, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

The appointee will assist the faculty member in conducting an empirical operations management project. Responsibilities of the position include conducting literature reviews, data cleaning and data analysis, and writing research reports and academic papers.

Applicants should have a bachelor's or master's degree in statistics, economics/finance, or related fields. HKUST graduates are welcome to apply. Relevant research experience and programming skills (Python, R, or State) are preferred. The candidate should be competent in both written and spoken English. The applicants are also expected to perform ad-hoc request from PI. (Duration: 3 – 6 months, renewable)

Duration: 6 months to 1 year (starting in Fall 2025)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave and medical benefits will be provided where applicable.
