The Hong Kong University Of Science And Technology Hiring! Full Time Research Assistant in Sai Kung District, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

The appointees will work closely with a faculty to conduct and support empirical accounting and corporate finance research. They will be required to perform research tasks including but not limited to reviewing literature, collecting and analyzing data, and any other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree. They should have a strong quantitative background, strong computer skills including programming, the ability to work independently to solve problems, and a long-term interest in pursuing research. Background in economics and business is a plus, but not necessary. Candidates with strong technical backgrounds who are looking for more exposure to economics are also welcome. Candidates who can read/present academic literature on the capital market and have a proactive and research mindset are preferred. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable.
