The Electronic Packaging Laboratory (EPACK Lab) led by Prof. S. W. Ricky LEE, an R&D center at HKUST, is seeking highly enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates to fill the Research Assistant position to support our research. We offer professional support, training, and services to universities, companies, and industry partners. We also conduct our academic research related to advanced microsystems packaging.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide general laboratory operations, organizations, logistics, inventory management, and other supports
• Assist academia/industrial projects
• Perform tests/experiments in different laboratories of HKUST
• Conduct academic research
• Conduct other ad-hoc activities as instructed by supervisors
• Occasionally working irregular hours will be required

Requirements

• Holder of master's or bachelor's degree in engineering. Mechanical engineering, material engineering, chemical engineering, micro-fabrication, or other manufacturing-related disciplines are preferred.
• Experiences in microfabrication, electronic packaging, or other electronic manufacturing areas are preferred.
• At least 1-year working experience or project experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates will also be considered.
• English requirement:

- TOEFL - Internet-based Test (iBT): 80;
- TOEFL - Paper-based Test (pBT): 550;
- IELTS (Academic Module): Overall score: 6.5 with all sub-scores: 5.5;
- Or other equivalent English qualifications.
