It focuses on two primary research areas. Firstly, it specializes in databases and associated techniques that enable efficient management, integration, and analysis of complex data on a large scale, catering to various applications in business, science, and personal domains. Secondly, the lab explores the convergence of databases and AI, encompassing the utilization of AI, such as large language models, to enhance databases, as well as leveraging database technology to support AI applications.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the cutting edge research and contribute to the development of innovative technologies.

Priority will be given to applicants who possess a valid working visa for Hong Kong. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required for this role. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Outstanding Research Assistant will have the chance to be the PhD student of the lab. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
