• Perform Server, Android app development, enhancement and maintenance according to functional and technical requirements
• Assist in UI/UX design
• Analyse and respond quickly to customer / internal feedbacks and bug-fixing
• Explore mobile-related technology and techniques for app update
• Handle project independently
• Integrate IoT devices on to different platforms
• Handle other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

• University graduates from Computer Science or related disciplines with at least 3 years related working experience
• Passion in software engineering focusing on smart home, control, cloud & IoT systems
• Able to work independently, willing to learn new things and think creatively in exploring new solutions
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Technical requirements

• Able to build server - OS - Ubuntu / Web Server - Apache / Preferred Language - PHP, MYSQL, Shell script / API - REST (JSON)
• Able to develop Web app: HTML, CSS, jQuery
• Able to handle multi-thread: Asynchronous, Thread pool
• Familiar with Android Studio (Java+SQLite)
• Knowledge in Security: Hash, En/Decryption, openSSH, HTTPs, OAuth2.0
• Knowledge in socket programming
• Knowledge in Networking: Classful addressing, TCP, UDP
• Knowledge in IoT is a bonus: Mesh network, Bluetooth, Z-Wave, Zigbee, NB-IoT, LoRa
• Knowledge in Multi-media is a bonus: Video/Audio Streaming and Encoding, Animation, Colour Space, Image/Audio processing
• Experience in building CMS is a bonus
