Job Description

• To teach IB MYP S1 to S3 English Language and Literature, and DSE English Language, and take up pastoral care responsibilities for students;
• To take up pastoral care responsibilities for students of the class;
• Provide support to the subject department/ school;
• Carry out other job duties assigned by the department/school.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hold a Bachelor Degree or above in relevant disciplines and received appropriate teacher trainings;
• Possess relevant with MYP Language and Literature, and DSE English language teaching experience is highly preferred;
• Possess excellent language abilities in English;
• Be cheerful, positive and self-motivated;
• Must be a registered teacher in Hong Kong.

• Able to show initiative to undertake the tasks independently and also collaboratively with high level of organizational skills and analytical skills;
• Possess great sense of responsibility, be caring to and patient with teenage students, flexible, self-motivated, diligent, respectful, fun to work with and capable to work under pressure;
• Possess excellent fluency in English and inter-personal skills;
• Be skillful in common computer applications;
• Be international-minded to work with people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including students, parents and colleagues.
