The Planning Assistant Intern will support the APAC Planning team in merchandise and business planning activities across multiple markets. This role offers hands-on exposure to regional planning processes, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Merchandising, Commercial Team, and local markets. The intern will contribute to sales analysis, inventory productivity tracking, seasonal planning preparation, and reporting, while developing strong analytical and business skills in a fast-paced regional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Inventory Analysis
Support weekly and monthly sales reporting (market, channel, and category)
Assist in sell-through, growth, and variance analysis versus LY & forecast
Support NOOS (Never Out Of Stock) and carryover/ discount tracking
Help consolidate sales & inventory data across markets and channels
Systems & Data Management
Support data sanity check across planning systems (e.g. Excel, Master data etc.)
Assist in maintaining data consistency between sales, stock, and planning tools
Build and improve Excel-based templates for reporting and analysis
Ad-hoc & Project Support
Support planning-related projects and process improvements
Prepare meeting materials and summaries for regional alignment sessions
Work closely with Planning and Commercial teams on ad-hoc requests
Qualifications & Requirements
Undergraduate or postgraduate student in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related disciplines
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas; Power Query is a plus)
Comfortable working with numbers, dashboards, and large datasets
Strong communication skills in English
Proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a regional business environment
